Becomming an astronaut
The road to becoming an Astronaut is tough, hard, challenging and long, but that won't stop me.
MY Journey to BECOMING an Astronaut
Where I am heading
|
From an early age I have always had a special love and passion about the surrounding planets, the stars above us and the Apollo moon landings. As I am 16 years old, it has come to a time in my schooling where I am selecting subjects that will point me in the right direction for my future career plans. I have decided that I want to pursue a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) career.
Becoming an Astronaut takes time and persistence, especially living in Australia. Living here, makes it harder to comprehend and believe in your dreams. The main reason behind my Instagram account was to make sure I kept my interest in space exploration and to be inspired by the people who were on the same journey as me. Through various forms of social media, I have been able to connect with people from all over the world (France, Netherlands, America, England, Singapore, Brazil, Canada and a whole list of others) and surprisingly these people have become some of my closest friends. Its amazing, because we are all heading in the same direction, and are able to help each other in reaching our own goals. During my journey along the way I can't wait to meet new people, experience new experiences and soak in as much knowledge as I can. I have a huge journey ahead of me, and I have already started. BRING ON MARS Here are some of my ideas and plans that will help in getting me to outer space!
